Mike Tindall playfully interacts with wife Zara's fascinator during their enjoyable Australian vacation - OK! Magazine
Mike and Zara Tindall attended the Magic Millions Races in Australia's Gold Coast with a light-hearted and relaxed demeanor, even resulting in Mike donning Zara's hat by the day's conclusion.
Mike, aged 45, and Zara, aged 42, have been getting pleasure from their yearly holiday, sans children, in Australia to attend the Magic Millions events regularly, with Zara serving as one of the ambassadors.
After basking several days on the beach, the royal couple, who are the parents of nine-year-old Mia, five-year-old Lena, and two-year-old Lucas, dressed up elegantly for The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday, held on Saturday, 13 January.
Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, was seen wearing a chic floral dress with short puff sleeves and a flowing skirt. She adorned her look with striking silver heels and a matching clutch.
The royal completed her race day look with her blonde hair styled in a low bun, fringe curled, and a striking navy blue and orange fascinator.
Mike, on the other hand, looked charming in a cream suit, coupled with a light blue shirt and striped tie. The father of three complemented his outfit with a pair of dark brown suede shoes and sunglasses.
The couple seemed to enjoy every moment of the Magic Millions event, spotted smiling and laughing in several photos as they interacted with fellow attendees.
Mike was seen having a cocktail before leaving the event, donning Zara's blue and orange fascinator.
The Tindalls visit the Magic Millions event every January, with Zara becoming the inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador in 2012. They jet off to Surfers Paradise in Queensland each year for the Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Zara and Mike have a special connection with Australia where they first met in Sydney during the 2003 Rugby World Cup. They have always shared their fondness for Australia and have even entertained the thought of relocating there.
Zara told The Australian Women's Weekly in 2019 that she would consider relocating 'if an opportunity came up'. Mike echoed her sentiments stating, 'Early January is bleak over here so it's nice to be able to go and have a bit of sun. I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach - especially for the kids.'
Despite their fondness for Australia, no concrete plans for relocation have been made. As per Hello Magazine, Mike shared, 'Never say never but it’s not on the cards, people try to say that we almost did, but we never almost did. It's never been an actual thing where we’ve looked for a house or anything.'
'We love Australia a lot and we love the lifestyle, I think it's brilliant for kids but whether we could actually move there, we're not sure.'
