Lorraine Kelly’ s daughter, Rosie Smith, gave a glimpse of the nursery for her baby who is due any minute now. In a post uploaded to her Instagram story and labelling the nursery ‘it’s complete carnage’ the 30 year old gave gave fans a peek inside the space. In the snap, Rosie showed off the room’s neutral colours, which featured boxes of toys, shelves of children’s books and hung beige baby clothes.

Rosie also showed off her glowing and growing baby bump to fans while giving a tour of the nursery, as she now only has one week to go before the arrival of the tot.

Grandparenting duties are also already in full swing for Lorraine and she's been busy decorating her own grandchild’s nursery as Rosie prepares to give birth.

Since Rosie announced that she was pregnant with her first child, Lorraine has made no secret of her excitement to be a grandmother. In May, the 64 year old gushed that she's “never seen” her daughter look “so beautiful” as she reached the sixth month mark of her pregnancy.

And now, as Rosie’s due date approaches, Lorraine has helped with the preparations and has set up a nursery for the little one at own home.

In keeping with the calm theme, the nursery also featured a gorgeous boucle bunny mobile. “Mum’s setting up her own nursery at home and this handmade boucle bunny and moon cot mobile from @edieandjoe is so special,” she wrote. “I can’t wait to see what else is planned! @lorrainekellysmith”.

The post comes as Rosie opened up about her pregnancy and explained that she was enjoying the “last few weeks” of being pregnant. “Last few weeks of taking the p**s with eating whatever I want @doughnuttime_uk,” the caption read.

In an interview with Bella Magazine, Lorraine opened up about becoming a grandmother and vowed to make sure that she doesn't “interfere too much” when her granddaughter arrives later this year. “It's the most exciting thing that has happened to our family in a long time. It will be really really lovely,” she said.

“I've just said to Rosie, 'I'm here for you, anything you need.' She's good though, we've got that kind of relationship that if I was annoying her, she would just say 'Enough, go home.'”

She added that she knows her daughter is “going to be the best mum” and that she intends on going by “Granny Smith”, adding that it will be her “badge of honour”.

Meanwhile, back in June the TV icon admitted that she was “beyond excited” to become a grandma as she shared a clip of Rosie browsing through some baby clothes.
