Lainey Wilson elevates her hallmark bell bottom country style in her recent performance at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala. This spectacle was prerecorded and broadcasted on Wednesday, February 21.

31-year-old Lainey impressed with a shimmering getup for the event. She paired white sequin flared trousers with a rhinestone-covered silver crop top. The top was adorned with fringe detailing at its hem. The look was finished off with one of her characteristic hats and her hair was styled into relaxed curls.

Alongside host Dolly Parton, the Grammy-winner dazzled on stage during the special. They beautifully rendered “I Will Always Love You,” their voices blending flawlessly with the timeless song. Their onstage ensembles were similarly synchronized, with 78-year old Dolly sporting a white outfit. The much-loved country star was also accompanied by Carly Pearce for renditions of “Jolene” and “9 to 5,” as Chris Janson sang “Hound Dog.”

Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala served as a venue for celebrities to honor their beloved pets. Famous faces in attendance included Jessica Simpson, Drew Barrymore, Kristin Cavallari, and others. The event also featured a doggy fashion show, where charming dogs strutted down the catwalk.

Lainey has had quite a packed schedule in recent weeks, as she attended both the Grammy Awards and the People’s Choice Awards in February. Following her Grammy win for Best Country Album, she performed at the PCAs and was acclaimed as the Female Country Artist of the Year. Amidst all the hustle, she debuted a new single, “Country’s Cool Again.”

With numerous professional feats to her name, Lainey has also made a name for herself as a fashion symbol in the country music world. The singer of “Things a Man Oughta Know” branded her distinctive style early in her career, and has since only enhanced it, gracing the red carpet in countless glamorous outfits. She fittingly entitled her 2022 record Bell Bottom Country, inspired in part by her preferred style.

“Bell Bottom Country, to me, signifies more than just my love for a good pair of bell bottoms. It represents individuality and what makes a person 'stand out',” she stated. “I have fully embraced mine and I hope it’s evident in this project.”

Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala was aired on CBS on Wednesday, February 21, at 8 p.m. and can be streamed on Paramount+.
