Kylie Kelce subtly supports Taylor Swift's night out at the Golden Globes with Keleigh Teller

Kylie Kelce, it seems, subtly dismissed the rumors about discordance between herself and her brother-in-law Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift. She did this by showing her appreciation for a post about Swift's glamorous night at the Golden Globes.

Keleigh Teller (née Sperry), who is a close friend of Taylor’s and was her companion for the evening, shared images from the awards show on Instagram on Monday, January 9, a day after the celebrity-packed event. In the shared photos, Keleigh, 31, is seen arm-in-arm with Taylor, 34, on the Golden Globes red carpet, accompanied by Taylor's public relations manager, Tree Paine. There was also a delightful picture of Taylor and Keleigh caught in a hearty laugh as they embraced before a wall decorated with floral patterns.

Keleigh, wife of actor Miles Teller, added a caption to the post saying, "Romy and Michele (and Tree) take the globes", along with sending out a virtual red heart.

The post was warmly-received, with several football team WAGs (wives and girlfriends) expressing their adoration. Among them was Brittany Mahomes, who is married to Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for Kansas City Chiefs, who commented using flame emojis. Kylie, 31, married to Travis’ sibling and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, also extended her approval towards the post.

The show of subtle support for Taylor and Keleigh by Kylie is significant, given that fans speculated that she was criticizing Taylor in an interview she gave to Spectrum News in November 2023. Kylie, discussing the heightened media focus on the Kelce family following Travis’ relationship with Taylor since July 2023, remarked that she wasn't particularly fond of the “limelight” and preferred to remain behind the scenes.

Kylie’s reply was perceived by certain fans as her disapproval of the abundant media attention Taylor often receives, especially regarding her association with Travis, 34.

Kylie, in a TikTok video soon after, addressed a suggestion that she was “attempting to shun the Taylor Swift spotlight”.

“Watch that interview," she advised her followers. "My reply was that it wasn’t to my liking to be under media scrutiny. That’s not what I said. You’re grasping at straws! You certainly are!”

Kylie, in early December 2023, signaled to fans that there was no disagreement between her and Taylor by favorably acknowledging a news post on Instagram related to Tree's statement denying the rumor that Taylor was married to her former partner Joe Alwyn. In addition to this, Kylie shared a TikTok video featuring her daughter with the audio track from Taylor's song “Never Grow Up”.

“If you’re planning to make headline news out of this, I recommend you suggest an alternative audio track”, she stated in the caption, adding, “Because you won’t find a better one.”

Kylie tied the knot with Jason, 36, in 2018. They are parents to three daughters, Wyatt (4), Elliotte (2), and Bennett (11 months). On the other hand, Taylor and Travis kept their relationship private for approximately three months before Taylor made it official at the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2023.
