After efforts and the passage of time, Kristin Cavallari and her former spouse, Jay Cutler, are "on good terms," Kristin unveiled, three years post their bitter split.

“Indeed, we are, and it's a scenario I couldn't have fathomed. I'm overjoyed,” Kristin, aged 36, admitted responding to questions from followers during her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast on Tuesday, November 28.

Returns from The Hills, Kristin expressed, “Oh my! Couldn't be happier as everyone benefits when parents are in harmony.” Kristin and Jay are parents to sons Camden and Jaxon, aged 11 and 9 respectively, and their 7-year-old daughter Saylor.

“It's evident to my kids, it tends to make things simpler. Heartbreaks can be challenging to deal with. I get it. However, witnessing Jay's joy right now is a wonderful sight,” Kristin disclosed about her ex, 50. "I'm concerned about his well-being because I'm experiencing the positive impact, and so are my kids. I'm really content right now, and I'm grateful for it."

Kristin, the creator of Uncommon James, assured her followers enduring painful separations that harmonious outcomes are achievable. "If we could overcome our differences, there's hope for anyone out there. When I used to hear such affirmations, I was sceptical. But now, I mean every word," she clarified.

Kristin and Jay tied the knot in June 2013. Their unforeseen break-up was vocalized by Kristen in a post on Instagram in April 2020.

"After being together for a decade, it's with profound sorrow that we've decided to divorce. Despite everything, our mutual respect and affection remain intact. We're extremely thankful for our shared moments, and our adored offspring," the MTV veteran scribed, additionally asserting, "We have merely drifted apart and request our privacy to be maintained as we traverse through this tough period within our family.”

Trouble started brewing when Kristin alleged Jay of launching verbal lash-outs at her as stated in her divorce filings. "Inappropriate remarks are often thrown at her, instigating arguments in front of the kids," the submitted document reported, implying, "Staying under the same roof would be detrimental, inflicting irreparable damage to their underage kids."

Subsequently, Kristin divulged that they tried reconciling, which ultimately reassured them that divorce was the appropriate course.

Dismantling our marriage wasn't due to lack of affection, which made our decision strenuous, as we were ardently bonded," she expounded during an October 2021 guest appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s “Off The Vine” podcast. “Eventually, I didn't want to be trapped in a toxic relationship and had to call it off.”

She then added, “It did lead to a phase of self-doubt for a while. However, post dating him briefly, I was reassured that I was taking the right step.”
