Kourtney Kardashian Celebrates Husband Travis Barker's Birthday in First Post Since Son's Birth

After a brief hiatus, Kourtney Kardashian resumed her presence on Instagram to extend a birthday greeting to her husband Travis Barker. This was her first upload following the birth of their son.

In the post penned down to her darling husband, soulmate, and best friend, Kourtney shared her heartfelt birthday wishes and the express love she has for him. Kourtney thanked Travis, her partner and father of their newborn boy, for making all her dreams come true, finished off with her affectionate emotions for him.

Her birthday appreciation for Travis comes in a time more than a week after the public got wind of the news regarding the latest addition to their family. Kardashians and Barkers welcomed their baby boy into this world on November 4. Prior to the birth of their son, the couple was seen entering the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, in close company with other family members from the Kardashian-Jenner association, including Kylie Jenner.

Since then, there have been reports of the couple frequently visiting the hospital, however, neither of them has made official statements about the birth of their son. However, Travis shared a video captured in the hospital before the arrival of the baby on his TikTok account on November 9. The video displayed him practicing with his drum pad in what appeared as a hospital room, playing to the rhythm of the heartbeat of their child ready to be born. Though Kourtney also put up the clip on her Instagram Stories, fans expressed varied thoughts pertaining to Travis' actions as "weird" and "annoying".

In a recent discussion on the podcast “One Life One Chance With Toby Morse” aired on October 30, prior to the birth of their son, Travis discussed Kourtney's expected date for labor. He mentioned that the baby was to be born either on Halloween or during the first week of November. In this chat, he also divulged the name they had decided for the baby – Rocky 13.

Kourtney had previously publicly confirmed her pregnancy on June 17. This video displayed her as a part of the crowd at a Blink-182 concert where Travis was performing. Holding a sign with the words “Travis, I’m pregnant”, she announced her pregnancy. A week later, she uploaded more content from a party, revealing that they were anticipating a baby boy.

Her Instagram uploads were filled with photographs of her pregnancy journey. This pregnancy journey is her fourth and first with Travis. Kourtney is also a mother to Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Travis also parents Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.

Despite enduring a difficult pregnancy, Kourtney underwent emergency fetal surgery to protect the life of her unborn child, which she opened up about on September 1. Towards the conclusion of her pregnancy, she was advised bed rest.

In an interview with Vanity Fair Italy in October, Kourtney spoke about the challenges during her recent pregnancy. She expressed constant fear due to the many restrictions advised by her group of doctors. Comparing her pregnancy experience this time with the past pregnancies, she shared about being asked to restrain from workouts, Pilates, caffeine, plane journeys, and even sex.
