The Name for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's First Baby Confirmed as Rocky Thirteen! Discover Its Meaning

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have welcomed their baby boy into the world on November 1! The couple chose an interesting name with a particular meaning for their son.

The little boy, named Rocky Thirteen Barker, was born at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Center, according to a birth certificate acquired by The Blast on November 16. Kourtney had previously given birth at this medical center to her three children with her former partner, Scott Disick.

Clues regarding the baby’s name had been spotted beforehand. For instance, at Kourtney and Travis' baby shower in September, a “wishing tree” held a note saying, “May baby Rocky have the most … life filled with love, happiness.”

It seems "Rocky" is a nod toward Barker's rock star career as a member of the band Blink-182. As for the name "Thirteen," despite considered unlucky by some, the Halloween-loving duo seem to have a fondness for the unusual.

Ever since the announcement of the pregnancy on Instagram on June 16, 2023, fans have been looking forward to this day. Kourtney surprised her husband with the news during a Blink-182 concert as seen in the video she shared. She held up a sign in the crowd that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant,” mirroring a moment from a Blink-182 music video. Travis' response was to jump into the crowd to hug his wife.

“Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan,” Kourtney captioned a photo she shared two days later where Travis was mimicking drumming on her baby bump.

The following week, Kourtney posted video footage from their rock ‘n’ roll-themed gender reveal celebration. As her husband played a drumroll, blue confetti soared in the air marking the arrival of a boy. “Little drummer boy coming soon,” she wrote for the caption alongside a photo from the party.

Before little Rocky's arrival, Kourtney and Travis had a blended family consisting of children from previous relationships. Kourtney has three kids – Mason, Penelope, and Reign – with ex Scott Disick, while Travis has two teenagers – Alabama and Landon – with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Travis is also close to Atiana De La Hoya, Shanna's oldest daughter with Oscar De La Hoya.

Despite their families combining smoothly, Kourtney and Travis were overjoyed to have their first child together following a lengthy experience with IVF, which they stopped before Kourtney became pregnant. “They’re calling it their miracle baby; Kourtney is healthy and her doctors say everything looks fine.
