The TV personality and successful businesswoman, Kim Kardashian, has decided it's time to return to the makeup world. She used Instagram to publicize the unveiling of her latest makeup venture, Skkn by Kim Makeup. This collection is characterized as a fusion of skincare nourishing formulas and high-performance glamour. The new makeup line will debut with the Soft Matte Lip Color, comprising of ten full-coverage, velvety matte lipsticks, a Lip Liner set featuring fifteen durable matte lip pencils, and a Classic Mattes Eyeshadow Palette encompassing twelve silky matte finishes of warm and cool nude shadows.

In her Instagram post, Kardashian mentions her recent change in tack to a more skin-first approach in her beauty routine. Additionally, she shared that her objective with developing @Skkn By Kim Makeup was not just to create universally appealing cosmetic essentials but also to ensure the products are clean, hydrating, and enhance the skin's appearance and texture with every use.

After experimenting in various beauty and perfume sectors, Kardashian refocused solely on skincare following the debut of her luxury skincare line, Skkn by Kim, in June 2022. This move arguably marked a turning point from her earlier pursuits when she decided to shut down her previous cosmetics entity, KKW Beauty, in August 2021, and cease production of her perfume line, KKW Fragrance, come April 2022.

Her re-entry into the beauty sphere is marked by this new launch and is set for January 26, at 9 a.m. PST. Beauty fanatics are encouraged to join the online waitlist to gain exclusive access to the collection and secure their position at the front of the queue.
