Couple Goals: Kelsea Ballerini and Boyfriend Chase Stokes Share Sweet PDA Photo
Chase Stokes recently shared a rare photo with girlfriend Kelsea Ballerini, proving that the couple is still going strong. In a social media post that included various images, including Stokes looking at the Stanley Cup, eating a hamburger, hitting the gym, and spending time with Ballerini, the sweetest snap showed the Outer Banks star nuzzling into the neck of the "Heartfirst" singer while she smiled for the camera. Ballerini quickly took to the comments section to leave a flirty message for her beau and responded to the photo dump, writing, "Find somebody that looks at you like chase looks at the stanley cup," before adding, "PS - you cute."
Last month, Ballerini previously shared pictures with Stokes from her time at the CMTs, where the couple also made their red carpet debut. They were first linked in November 2021, after attending the College Football Championship in Los Angeles. During a February episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the Grammy nominee shared details about their first interaction, in which she said hello to Stokes on Instagram.
Prior to her relationship with Stokes, Ballerini was married to fellow country singer Morgan Evans for nearly five years before the couple divorced in August 2022. According to an insider who spoke exclusively to Us Weekly, their relationship had gone through many issues, including friction, tension, and toxicity, and was ultimately doomed by their disagreement over children. Following their split, both Ballerini and Evans released music about their breakup.
Stokes, on the other hand, previously dated his Outer Banks co-star, Madelyn Cline, for more than a year. Even after their break-up, the pair continues working together in an amicable way. "Mads and I have been working together now for 30 episodes, and we made a promise to each other before we even started dating that the work was always going to come first," said Stokes in a February interview with Entertainment Weekly. He added, "No matter what happens in our personal lives, and the ways that life sometimes takes you in different directions, that we're always going to honor the work. That stayed 100 percent truthful this season."
