Fiance Vinny Tortorella Proposes To Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick - Details Of The Proposal

Jersey Shore star, Angelina Pivarnick and her boyfriend, Vinny Tortorella, are officially engaged after dating for about a year and a half. Vinny got down on one knee and popped the big question, much to the delight of their friends and costars who witnessed the blissful moment. Angelina couldn't contain her excitement and quickly took to Twitter to announce the news to her fans, posting, "OHHHH YES GUYS" along with engagement ring emojis. This is the first time Angelina has made public her relationship and engagement since her divorce from ex-husband, Chris Larangeira in May 2022.

In September 2022, Angelina revealed to her fans and castmates that she was dating Vinny after meeting him on Instagram. Vinny made his first appearance on the show in the following season, where Angelina hinted that their relationship was getting more serious. She said in a March 2023 episode, "Things have been heating up between us and we’re definitely moving along in our relationship. He’s from Staten Island and yes, his name is Vinny. What are the f–king odds of that?"

Angelina and Vinny's relationship intensified within a month when she invited him on his first Jersey Shore cast trip. During a confessional in the April 2023 episode, Angelina opened up, saying, "This is something I need at this point in my life. I didn’t feel loved in my last relationship. I would literally wear lingerie walking around the house half-naked, and he wouldn’t even look at me. Going into a relationship where the guy likes to be intimate, tells you how beautiful you are – I mean, Vin can’t get his hands off me. It’s a different world, and it feels so good to be loved."

Angelina was previously married to Chris, whom she wed in November 2019, three years after the beginning of their romantic relationship. Despite their efforts to reconcile, they experienced a rocky marriage, and Angelina filed for divorce for the first time in January 2021. While trying to save their marriage, they got back together that September. Angelina announced in January 2022 that they were still working on their relationship, but the stress was "a lot."

Their issues affected their sex life, which Angelina described as "nonexistent" during a June 2021 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. She elaborated in a confessional clip, saying, "It’s like, we’ll fight, and then whoever starts the fight won’t want to bang. So, he doesn’t want to bang, I don’t want to bang — no one wants to bang." Chris eventually filed divorce again a few weeks later, and their marriage was officially dissolved in May 2022. However, now Angelina can happily say that she's engaged and set to move forward with Vinny.
