Jennifer Lopez commemorated her twins - Max and Emme Muniz's 16th birthday with a family trip to Tokyo.

The 54 year-old singer best known for her hit "On The Floor", shared with her Instagram followers on Thursday, February 22, a sneak peak of the twins' "birthday trip" which marked their 16th birthday.

The Instagram video started with Jennifer expressing that she’s “never seen Max so excited” as they were about to take off from the airport. Emme also expressed her anticipation saying, “I’ve never seen myself so excited.” The video continued with their Tokyo adventures. They took part in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, visited an art museum, hung around with baby pigs in a cafe and celebrated their birthday with '16' silver balloons.

Jennifer had her twins Max and Emme with her former husband Marc Anthony. The couple were married from 2004 to 2014. Currently, she is married to Ben Affleck since 2022.

As soon as the footage was posted, Jennifer's fans flocked to the comment section noting the striking resemblance between Max and his father Marc Anthony. Many commented, “Max is a true copy of his father Marc Anthony! They are identical” and “Those kids are all Marc.” Besides, some fans were stunned by how fast Jennifer's kids have grown up.

Jennifer has always loved being a mother and has spoken affectionately about her twins, whom she fondly refers to as her coconuts. At one point, she opened up to The Hollywood Reporter in May 2023 that there's “no perfect version of a mom”. She added, the best a mother can do is “to be the best mom you can be with who you are and what you know, and the things that you learned and experienced in your life”. The Marry Me actress emphasized that loving and protecting your children is paramount.

Even though she shares a close bond with Max and Emme, she recently confessed they aren't always her biggest fans in terms of music. In an interview with Variety published on February 13, Jennifer shared an interesting reaction from her teenagers when she played her 2002 album, This Is Me … Then, for them. The twins asked their mom if it was her music being played. When Jennifer confirmed they did like her music, but they added, “Yeah, we like this more than the music you make now,” which made Jennifer feel a good kind of ouch.
