Jason Tartick, The Bachelorette alum, may need to pause and reconsider after parting ways with Kaitlyn Bristowe in 2023. Recently, he brought up the possibility of featuring on The Bachelor now that he's unattached.

"Looking at my age, I reckon I'm likely too old," Jason, aged 35, stated during the January 15 edition of his "Trading Secrets" podcast. "A 35-year-old Bachelor seems a bit old," he mused. Joey Graziadei, the current star of the show, is 28.

Even though Jason doubts he might be seen as fit for this role, he said that he would consider it if an opportunity arose. "I don't imagine they will be knocking at my door," he added.

Jason was a part of The Bachelorette's fourteenth season in 2018. After Becca Kufrin dumped him, he was featured on Kaitlyn’s podcast resulting in their first interaction. Following Kaitlyn, 38, ending her relationship with Shawn Booth, she and Jason rekindled their relationship and began dating in early 2019. Despite their engagement in 2021, the two announced their split in August 2023.

"It seems like my ex has a grip on that franchise," Jason confessed about Kaitlyn's earlier journey on The Bachelorette and as the show's host for two seasons in 2021. "We will see with time. I'm not sure if the franchise is interested in having me back."

Jason is not yet seeing anyone new, however, his ex-girlfriend is rumored to be linked with Zac Clark. Zac, 40, once proposed to Kaitlyn’s The Bachelorette co-host, Tayshia Adams. After witnessing their close interaction on New Year’s Eve, fans started speculating about their relationship. These rumors intensified after their alleged date in New York City on January 20.

Following Jason's friendly interaction with Kaitlyn at Chris Harrison’s wedding in November 2023, she expressed her disappointment over his recent actions.

"It's quite disappointing to see Jason play the victim considering I acknowledge his pain," she revealed. "His feelings matter and he's hurt, but we've discussed everything honestly and transparently out of respect for each other. I use the word disappointed frequently. It's quite disappointing that someone would leverage a false narrative to gain sympathy."

She made this comment after denying allegations that she cheated on Jason with Zac.
