Jason Kelce's Wife Kylie Insists on His Perfect Conduct to Meet Taylor Swift

Jason Kelce certainly didn't make the first impression that his wife, Kylie Kelce, would have hoped for when he first met Taylor Swift. The center for the Philadelphia Eagles shared that Kylie had cautioned him to exercise his "best behavior" during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game. On the contrary, he chose to get shirtless.

In a candid revelation on the "New Heights" podcast hosted by his brother Travis Kelce on Wednesday, January 24, Jason, aged 36, shared, “I’m not going to sugarcoat it, I did give Kylie a forewarning. As soon as we got seated in the suite, I put it straight ‘I’m planning on getting shirtless and leaping out of this suite.’ Her reaction was, ‘Jason, you better not.’”

Jokingly, Jason mentioned that he didn't ask Kylie, aged 31, for "permission." He insisted that pulling such a stunt was typical of him. Interestingly, he also revealed that he was “overly intoxicated” when he first encountered Kylie.

“This kind of antics are part of the unique Jason Kelce charisma,” he justified, but also acknowledged that Kylie had urged him to maintain his "best behavior" when meeting Travis’ girlfriend for the first time. She amongst others was present at the game, along with the parents of the Kelce brothers, Donna and Ed.

On Sunday, January 21, Jason made the news for tearing his shirt off and leaping from the VIP box into the crowd at Highmark Stadium in New York. This was to celebrate Travis, 34, scoring a touchdown, by chugging beers with fans. Kylie’s reaction wasn't clearly captured on camera, but the fleeting glimpses of her expressions during Jason’s stunt garnered attention on social media.

“Looking content like ‘Yep, that's my spouse,’” commented a fan on the smirk of the field hockey coach.

An amusing video shared by a user shows a person from the box seemingly trying to get Jason back in, saying, "Hey, Jason is being summoned by Kylie."

Although Kylie and the couple’s three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, weren’t at the game, they had their unique way of reacting to their shirtless dad’s antics. Jason posted a screenshot of a text from “Maaa” — likely Kylie’s mom — that read, “Ellie remarked, ‘Dad’s chest is visible!’”

Jason expressed his excitement about the electrifying experience in Buffalo in a post, captioning it, “Buffalo is amazing, the enthusiasm is infectious. Such a fantastic experience!!”

Luckily, Jason’s shirtless spectacle didn't seem to impact his first meeting with Taylor, who is 34 years old. They began dating Travis in July 2023. According to Travis, the pop star “absolutely adored” Jason. She was spotted interacting with Jason and his wife at the game, and also clicked pictures with Kylie.

A source informed Us Weekly that Travis was thrilled to see Taylor bonding well with his family.

“Travis is known for his strong family ties,” the source asserted. “So it's extremely gratifying for him to see Taylor blend into his family so effortlessly.”
