Chris Appleton Seeks Divorce from Lukas Gage Just 6 Months After Their Wedding

Chris Appleton has submitted a divorce filing from Lukas Gage, a mere six months into their matrimony, according to Life & Style.

Kim Kardashian’s trusted hairstylist, aged 40, submitted the necessary documents at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, November 13, specifying the pair’s separation day as November 10. Irreconcilable differences were mentioned as the cause of the break-up, and it was revealed that a postnuptial agreement existed. Both agreed to forgo any claims to spousal support.

Though both Chris and Lukas, 28, have not publicly weighed-in on their separation, an inside source informed TMZ that the decision to divorce was a difficult one for Chris to reach. It was further added by the source, that attempts were made by Chris to rectify the marriage, but he finally had to concede that the duo was incompatible.

Representatives for Chris and Lukas were not immediately available to provide comment on Life & Style’s inquiries.

The news of their divorce application trails just three days after their wedding was showcased on The Kardashians’ November 9 episode. During this episode, fans of the show were witness to their Las Vegas marriage, which was solemnized at the Little White Chapel in April.

The wedding was notably officiated by Kim, 43, with Shania Twain gracing the occasion by performing “You’re Still the One.” Furthermore, the TV icon also advised the couple to consider signing a prenup.

After first being romantically associated with each other in February, Chris and Lukas found themselves in a fast-paced relationship. Confessions of dating the White Lotus actor were made by Chris during The Drew Barrymore Show in March, as initial details of their relationship remained undisclosed.

“I’m ecstatic,” he declared at the time. “I am deeply in love and I am greatly appreciative of spending time with someone very special. Experiencing love is a unique thing and finding a connection with someone is indeed, a lot special.”

Subsequently the same month, Lukas appeared on the Today Show and expressed his joy about his relationship with Chris.

“I feel very pleased, very fortunate, and deeply in love,” the You actor stated. “He is quite the attractive man. Being in London gave me a flavor of the Brits which I found irresistible.”

Further details about their love story were revealed by Lukas in a talk with People on March 31. “When you're least expecting it, you will find the ideal partner. I remained single for a long time and didn't think it'd happen. But it happens, it will happen,” he projected.
