The remarkable weight loss of Kelly Clarkson has led to speculation among fans about the methods she might have used to get a leaner figure. Some suggest she may have used the drug Ozempic, as she has not divulged much information regarding her weight loss journey, prompting conjecture about the use of semaglutide.

While the daytime talk show host has not publicly discussed her considerable weight loss, which occurred from summer to fall, fans have been making assumptions and speculating.

On a photograph posted by Clarkson on November 9 on Instagram, where she is seen enjoying ice cream, several followers questioned how she managed to lose so much weight so quickly. One comment read, "Kelly is very upfront about not exercising, it’s Ozempic," while another added, "Ozempic looks good on you!"

One user insisted that her fans "deserved to know the truth of her weight loss," while a fellow follower claimed that she couldn’t have lost "that much weight that fast" without medication. One individual mentioned that while she looked great, the speed of her weight loss was remarkable, suggesting she lost a significant amount "in like two weeks."

Despite her fans' pleas for her to share her weight loss secrets, Clarkson did mention her newfound body and a fashion drawback she’s facing on the November 7 episode of her talk show.

When guests Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush displayed a childhood photo and spoke about their "chubby" phase, Clarkson joked about her own transformation, mentioning her current trouble with fitting into jeans.

She humorously described how challenging it was to find jeans when she lost some weight, especially with a smaller waist but a notable behind. Acknowledging her newfound problem, she labelled it as a "first-world problem" that she's facing due to her slimmed-down physique.

In 2018, Clarkson revealed her initial 40-pound weight loss was due to a lifestyle change inspired by Dr. Steven R. Gundry’s book, The Plant Paradox. The book reshaped her eating habits, encouraging her to eat organic and non-GMO foods.

The singer read the book to handle an autoimmune disease and a thyroid issue she was experiencing. Even her food preparation methods shifted, as she began using alternative ingredients even in staple dishes like fried chicken. She incorporated cassava flour, tapioca, or almond flour and used non-hormone chicken.

On October 27, an insider refuted the claims of Clarkson's supposed Ozempic use. They disclosed that her weight loss came due to dietary changes like limiting sugar and carbs, cutting out food items like soda, chips, biscuits, cheese and tortillas, and incorporating regular cardio into her routine.

The positive transformation is particularly noticeable after the weight gain she experienced during her acrimonious divorce from Brandon Blackstock, finalized in 2022. The source mentioned that Clarkson, just like many others, is prone to emotional eating and had put on weight during the divorce.
