Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's Romantic Italian Coast Honeymoon | Vanity Fair
After their movie-worthy wedding in Palermo, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner decided to do what any newlywed couple with an open schedule and a Pinterest board full of Italian dreams would do: a road trip honeymoon. In their case, they chose a “coastal” route, one featuring yachts and postcard-perfect beaches. From Favignana to Rome, from the Amalfi Coast to Matera, the couple has been spotted in some of the country’s most beautiful locations, leaving behind a trail of viral photos and fans trying to piece together their itinerary. It's a star-studded, sun-drenched treasure hunt.
In the last week alone, internet searches for “Dua Lipa honeymoon” have surged by 1,800 percent, with travel experts identifying Italian destinations linked to the couple’s sightings. So far, that list includes luxurious hotels, gorgeous beaches, and a very special Neapolitan pizzeria.
Based on photos, videos, and sightings, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's honeymoon stops include:
Lipa and Turner's honeymoon has also been the source of a rush to Google “the Amalfi coast,” with an increase of 3,250 percent during their honeymoon. Images of the newlyweds amid the sea, spritzes, and crystal-clear waters went viral on social media in a matter of hours. Positano, during the same period, saw a 248 percent increase in interest, while the Villa TreVille Beach Club has become the most talked-about destination: a mix of privacy, glamour, and natural backdrops that seem tailor-made for Instagram.
In Rome, Lipa and Turner were photographed at the Trevi Fountain in the evening, after paying for a ticket to get closer to the monument—prompting internet searches for the landmark to increase by 2,600 percent. In Naples, however, the couple chose one of the city’s most iconic pizzerias: Da Concettina ai Tre Santi, in the Rione Sanità neighborhood. The place dates back to 1951, when Concettina used to fry pizzas on the street corner, and today it’s a gastronomic and cultural beacon. Searches for the pizzeria have risen by 90 percent, while those for Naples have surged by 1,600. Tech companies, take note: the Dua Lipa effect is real.
