Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes are super excited ahead of the Super Bowl and a source exclusively tells Life & Style they’re going all out to make it a WAG event to remember – whilst helping each other to prepare for the game like the sporting royalty they’ve truly become!

“Taylor’s not nearly as wide-eyed about the whole thing as she was last year but she’s still relieved to have Brittany to experience all of this with,” the insider exclusively tells Life & Style about the “Now That We Don’t Talk” singer, 35, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, 29.

The source adds that Taylor and Brittany “know all eyes are going to be on them, so they’re prepping for this like it’s some sort of red carpet premiere.”

“They’ve got stylists pulling outfits for them and all sorts of beauty appointments booked. The pressure to look perfect on camera is very high,” the insider continues. “They also want to throw a little get together for the WAGS ahead of the game so they can celebrate together and bond more.”

While the source points out that the Kansas City Chiefs players “are the ones that have put in the hard work to get to the Super Bowl,” the support that their wives and girlfriends have given them “behind the scenes is substantial” and the women “deserve to enjoy this achievement too.”

“Taylor is basically the unofficial queen of the group and Brittany is right hand, so it makes sense that they’d be the ones arranging the pre-game social calendar for the WAGS,” the insider concludes.

The “Shake It Off” singer has grown close with Brittany and the other Chiefs WAGS ever since she started dating tight end Travis Kelce during the summer of 2023.

After Travis, 35, and his teammates won the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills on January 26, footage circulated online that showed Taylor and Brittany on the field as they watched their partners accept the Lamar Hunt trophy.

“There’s your man!” Brittany told Taylor as she pointed to Travis while he and Patrick, 29, stood on stage following their victory, which was captured via a video shared by fan account @tayvishaze on X.

After the friends shared a hug, Taylor got sentimental about her close bond with Brittany. “You kept me so calm the last couple of weeks,” she told the mother of three.

“I did not know what to do,” Taylor continued as they stood on the field with Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce. “I was like, ‘Tell me it’s going to be OK.’”

Brittany responded by sighing and saying, “What a game,” and Taylor shared, “My heart was in my throat.”

“I was literally up there pumping, stressing,” Brittany replied, admitting she was just as stressed out about the close game as Taylor was.

While Taylor is ready to support Travis as he and the Chiefs go up against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, rumors have been swirling that the Ohio native might propose to her during the game. Neither Taylor nor Travis have publicly commented on the likelihood of them getting engaged, though an insider exclusively told Life & Style that their inner circle wouldn’t be surprised if he pops the question soon.

“Everyone in Travis and Taylor’s world assumes an engagement is coming,” a source told Life & Style on Thursday, February 6. “In fact, a lot of people find it pretty extraordinary that it hasn’t happened already.”
