Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Allegedly Welcome Their First Baby

The arrival of a baby boy in the family of Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker has been confirmed by various reports.

It was shared by People that the duo, Kourtney (44 years) and Travis (47 years) welcomed their first child together on the 4th of November, Saturday. The news followed a day after TMZ spotted the couple at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on the 30th of October, Monday. They were accompanied by other family members, one of them being Kylie Jenner, Kourtney's sister.

Prior to his son's birth, on an episode of the podcast “One Life One Chance With Toby Morse” which was aired on the 30th of October, Travis disclosed that they were planning to name their son Rocky 13. He added that the baby was due on either Halloween or during the first week of November.

This child is the first offspring for the reality TV star and her musician boyfriend. This event marks the completion of their blended family. Kourtney made the announcement of her pregnancy while attending Travis’s Los Angeles tour with his band, Blink-182. The announcement follows years of her fertility struggles.

“Travis I'm Pregnant,” read a sign held by the Poosh founder as she enthusiastically bounced among the crowd. This act was a tribute to his band’s hit music video “All the Small Things”.

Travis' bandmate Mark Hoppus spotted the Kardashians star among the audience and exclaimed, “Hey Travis, you got an announcement!” He then proceeded to imply, “We’ve got an announcement that somebody’s d—k still works! Let’s hear it for Travis … somebody’s having a baby!”

Kourtney mentioned, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan,” in her Instagram post which included several pictures of the eventful night.

A few weeks after their joyful news, 'Kravis' threw a rock ‘n’ roll-inspired gender revelation function for their loved ones. A Poosh newsletter following the occasion revealed, “The blue pop bursting from the streamer cannons signified a boy, which thrilled the already excited couple.”

When Kourtney was seven-month pregnant with her baby boy, she encountered a medical emergency. She underwent emergency fetal surgery on the 1st of September. In an Instagram post shared later, accompanied by a photo of her in the hospital bed, she expressed her deep gratitude to her husband, her mother and her doctors who saved their baby's life.

Kourtney's new baby boy adds to her family that includes her past kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick whom she had with ex-partner Scott Disick. Travis has two other children, Alabama and Landon, with his past spouse, Shanna Moakler. He is also seen as a father figure by Atiana De La Hoya, who is Shanna's daughter with her ex-spouse, Oscar De La Hoya.

Before their wedding in May 2022, Kourtney and Travis had publicly shared about their fertility treatments to have a child together.

An insider in March 2022 quoted to Life & Style, “Just as things got serious between them, Kourtney and Travis agreed to strive to conceive.” According to the source, the couple had always wanted a big family and saw no reason to wait for marriage.

The source continued that Kourtney also found it significant to share her experience of pregnancy. They added that the couple were dedicated to each other and their blended family, but had hopes for a child of their own.

Their journey was presented on the Hulu reality series of the Kardashian family. However, they eventually decided to pause IVF treatments and try for a baby naturally, after which they discovered they were expecting.
