Gwen Stefani flaunts mesmerizing ring gifted by Blake Shelton on Valentine's Day
Blake Shelton pulled out all the stops for his wife, Gwen Stefani, on Valentine's Day 2024. Gwen Stefani, known for her popular song "Sweet Escape," disclosed that she received a huge emerald and diamond ring from Blake on February 14th, during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"Blake surprised me with a Valentine's gift a bit early," said the 54-year-old singer, proudly showing off her new ring.
On being probed by Jimmy Kimmel, 56, if the ring was Blake's own choice, Gwen responded, "He surprised me this year. Despite my adoration for the wonderful flowers I usually receive, this was a simple, 'take this!' He planned the entire thing himself," while expressing her unabashed love for Blake.
The couple later performed their duet “Purple Irises” on the show, ruling out the possibility of a romantic Valentine’s getaway. The No Doubt lead singer mentioned that her sons, who she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, were staying with them. The family spent Valentine's Day at home, preparing and enjoying ravioli, as stated by the “Hollaback Girl” singer.
On the ocassion of Valentine’s Day, Gwen was also part of an influencer event for her GXVE Beauty line. Sharing the memorable day, Gwen wrote on Instagram, "I have always cherished makeup and I love that I am able to share that with others. A heartfelt thanks to every beauty influencer and makeup artist who made this occasion special for me.
Blake and Gwen’s relationship had been a subject of speculation among fans because the couple celebrated New Year's Eve separately and didn't publicly acknowledge each other during significant career announcements in January.
However, their song "Purple Irises", which was released on February 9th, alleviated some of these concerns. The song, a celebration of everlasting love, resonated with fans.
On February 11, Blake and Gwen were spotted together at Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The duo performed their duet during the TikTok pregame tailgate and later seemed ecstatic as they posed in their suite.
