Grandmother of Tyler Francis' Children from 'Love Is Blind' Claims He's Unwanted in Their Lives
Lovetta Thomas, the grandmother of Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis’ three children, has spoken out again about the reality TV star and revealed how they feel about him post-season 7.
“We don’t want him around the kids now! Now it’s just stopping him and that woman he sends out there to shame herself,” Lovetta wrote in reply to an Instagram comment on Wednesday, November 6.
Lovetta’s scathing remark came the same day that Tyler’s wife, Ashley Adionser, spent some time talking about her relationship with Tyler, 34, and the paternity scandal with the host of “The Viall Files,” Nick Viall.
“Biologically, these are still his kids, so he feels a certain way, but he’s like, ‘I can’t do this,’” the marketing director, 32, told Nick, 40. “[The children’s mother] was disappointed, and I can see why she was disappointed as well. But he’s like, ‘I just don’t wanna have any connection with you or them because if I talk to you, although you’ve been my long-term friend, there’s no way I wouldn’t be able to not talk to the kids. And I think it’s best if I remove myself.’”
Lovetta also recorded a video of herself addressing some of the other things Ashley spoke about when she appeared on “The Viall Files” podcast.
“Ashley, Ashley, Ashley, where do I start?” Lovetta began. “There were so many lies in your little podcast interview and I won’t begin to address them all. It’s obvious you drank the Kool-Aid, the Tyler Kool-Aid, that is. First of all, we want a lot of things for our kids, but at the end of the day, they make their own decisions, like I think you heard you tell your mom or I think I heard you say. You’re going to make your own decisions. Kids are going to make their own decisions especially when they’re grown.”
She continued, “My daughter [Bri Thomas] is grown and with her own kids. She’s going to do what she wants to do. I’ve raised her. That has nothing to do with the fact that Tyler had three kids and he chose to abandon them after going on the show Love Is Blind nor the fact that you believe all of Tyler’s lies.”
Lovetta also touched on the point that Ashley, 32, claimed that Tyler “wasn’t in [the children’s] lives on a daily basis” and that’s “why he wanted to cut off the relationship” he supposedly had with them. She alleged that Tyler and Bri first lived in the same apartment with the children before they moved to “the same house.”
Along with shared living arrangements, Lovetta claimed that Bri was not the one who purchased the shirts that read “Dad” across the front for the account manager that can be seen in some of the photos of the Love Is Blind star and his kids. She instructed Ashley to “ask Tyler where those shirts really came from.”
Lovetta began to end the video by claiming that she had “receipts” regarding the situation. However, she then added, “That delusional woman said that Tyler’s mom, Dawn, said [that] she hardly [knew] the kids. If that’s, in fact, what Dawn said then I see where Tyler gets it from.”
