Gisele Bundchen and Joaquim Valente Enjoy Quality Time with Their Newborn

Gisele Bündchen had a message for the 23 million fans who follow her on Instagram. “Happiness is an inside job,” the supermodel wrote alongside a dreamy video that showed off her pregnant belly on January 29. “Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live.”

She seemingly knows from experience. Two years after divorcing Tom Brady, Gisele has not only picked up the pieces but she’s also begun a happy new chapter — on February 5, TMZ reported that the Brazilian beauty had given birth to her first child with beau Joaquim Valente. “The delivery went perfectly,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “She has been resting up, with Joaquim right by her side, helping out 24/7. They’re loving getting to know their newborn. It’s been a wonderful time.”

The little one joins siblings Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, whom Gisele, 44, shares with Tom, 47. The catwalk queen’s also still close to the former quarterback’s son, Jack, 17 — whose mom is Bridget Moynahan, 53 — following their shock 2022 split after 13 years of marriage. “Sometimes in life things happen,” Gisele told ABC News last April of the divorce. “I wouldn’t change anything in my life. I had incredible experiences. I learned so much. I have my children, which are the biggest blessings in my life.”

News that she and Joaquim, 37, would be adding another kid to the mix broke in October. “Gisele’s entire family loves Joaquim,” spills the insider. “He’s very low-key and private, but he’s also fiercely protective and devoted to Gisele.”

Joaquim has a great relationship with Ben and Viv, as well. Prior to things turning romantic between him and Gisele during the summer of 2023, he’d taught the trio jiujitsu. “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” the Nourish author admitted to The New York Times. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

Now, she’s getting to see her instructor-turned-partner in a whole new light. “He’s going to be a wonderful father,” insists the insider. “Gisele adores Joaquim and can tell already that he’s taken to the dad role like a natural.”

Among the first to congratulate the new parents? Tom. “That means a lot to Gisele,” says the insider. “She’s so relieved that they’ve established a peaceful coparenting dynamic and that there are no hard feelings.”
