Gigi Hadid Expresses Gratitude for Her Relationship with Bradley Cooper in Rare Interview

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper enjoy their relationship out of the spotlight – for the most part – but the supermodel recently gushed about how “lucky” she is in their “happy” romance.

“I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” Gigi, 29, told Vogue for the publication’s April 2025 cover story. “And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve … and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.”

The Next in Fashion cohost gushed that her relationship with the Hangover actor, 50, is “very romantic and happy,” but didn’t go into further detail because “it’s just not part of [their] relationship to share for whatever reason.”

That said, Gigi had no problem sharing how Bradley has supported her in her career and how he’s brought her back to her love in other aspects of the creative art world. The former Victoria’s Secret angel portrayed Miss Baltimore Amber von Tussle in the Hairspray musical at 9 years old and starred in an adaptation of “You Can’t Stop the Beat” for her Vogue visuals. Now, it’s a “dream” of Gigi’s to try theatre acting.

“I respect [Bradley] so much as a creative and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief,” Gigi said. “For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap.”

Reports of Gigi and Bradley’s romance broke in October 2023 with sources sharing details about their relationship. Gigi told the outlet that some insiders share information “that’s kind of right and kind of wrong,” but learned to “let it go; you can’t always correct everything.”

Gigi and Bradley are both parents. The Guest In Residence founder shares 4-year-old daughter Khai Malik with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik. The Maestro actor, for his part, shares 7-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with former partner Irina Shayk.

That said, the couple’s little ones brought them together on a romantic level as they first met at a backyard birthday party for a mutual friend of their daughters.

Although Gigi and Bradley’s daughters have the same friends, the pair slowly acclimated the girls together as they built the foundation of their own relationship first.

“They’re having serious discussions, since at their ages, girls get attached very easily,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style in March 2024. “They don’t want to see the girls hit it off only to pull the rug out from under them if their relationship doesn’t work out.”

Lea and Khai have since met and a third source exclusively told Life & Style in February 2025 that they “get along well” despite their three-year age gap.

Meanwhile, Bradley and Gigi’s relationship continued to thrive and the thought of proposing to the fashionista was heavy on the Grammy award-winning artist’s mind.

“Bradley has already determined he is going to ask Gigi to marry him. This is not even a question. They discussed family and marriage early on in their relationship,” a second source exclusively gushed to Life & Style at the time. “They have been committed to each other and to their plans for some time and now it is just a matter of when.”
