For her 34th birthday, Taylor Swift was surrounded by her nearest and dearest, but her boyfriend Travis Kelce couldn’t join in the celebration. The question is, why was the Kansas City Chiefs player absent from Taylor’s birthday party?

Travis’ commitment to the Chiefs took precedence over the birthday celebrations of the famous “All Too Well” performer. Whilst she flew to New York City, Travis remained in Kansas City, concentrating on the upcoming NFL game against the New England Patriots by attending compulsory practices.

“Before leaving for New York, the duo celebrated her birthday early with their friends in Kansas City at a holiday gathering on Sunday,” a source disclosed to People.

An inside source claimed to Life & Style that Travis had “assured” he would be with her on her birthday, and even though it didn't happen, rumors circulated that the NFL player had some birthday surprise planned.

“He deeply loves her and is eagerly waiting to demonstrate his feelings,” the source further shared.

A different source informed Us Weekly that he intends to “organize the most exceptional party” for his girlfriend. Furthermore, the informant said that “funds are not an issue” for Travis and he desires to include all of Taylor’s “dearest friends” in the gala.

According to the New York Post, Travis was planning an intimate dinner for Taylor, which caused several restaurants’ social media accounts to comment on the news.

The official account of a Kansas City local barbecue restaurant suggested their venue for the date and said, “There's nothing more romantic than bbq.”

Rumor has it that Travis prefers to host the party in New York City, as opposed to Kansas City, where they are residing currently. A source exclusively notified Life & Style that Taylor returned to stay with Travis for “a short period” after the South American segment of her Eras tour concluded on November 27.

“Taylor and Travis are cohabitating. They are already aware of their compatibility, but living together for a longer period will be the ultimate test,” the insider conveyed.
