Dove Cameron and Måneskin frontman Damiano David are reportedly engaged after two years of dating!

The Descendants star was all smiles as she stepped out with Damiano in Sydney, Australia, on Tuesday, flaunting a massive diamond ring on her finger. TMZ confirmed that the dazzling piece is, indeed, an engagement ring.

In photos obtained by the outlet, the couple looked picture-perfect as they strolled arm-in-arm through the city. Cameron rocked a chic black coat with matching trouser pants and a crisp white button-up top, while Damiano kept it cool in a black polo and pants. At one point, Dove gazed up at her beau with pure adoration, and honestly, we can’t blame her.

Earlier this month, Dove shared a heartfelt post on Instagram celebrating two years of dating. “The 2 best years of my life. i am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it,” she wrote alongside a carousel of sweet couple pics. “I love you in a way no words could ever express, but i will never stop trying. buon anniversario amore mio.” Damiano replied with equal affection: “The best part of being alive,” adding a simple red heart emoji. Fans first noticed sparks between Dove and Damiano in September 2023 when she attended the rocker’s Madison Square Garden concert. She later traveled to Brazil to support Måneskin, cementing the public’s interest in their romance. In a June 2024 Cosmopolitan cover story, Dove shared the backstory of how their paths crossed. The pair first met in 2022 when both were nominated for Best New Artist at the MTV VMAs. “When I met them, I don’t think I even spoke to Damiano. I didn’t think anything of it. I went about my night. I’d just won a VMA,” Dove revealed. She noted that a few months later, she was approached to attend Måneskin’s album release, though scheduling conflicts kept them apart.

Eventually, they reconnected at the 2023 VMAs, and Dove described their first date as “very, very slow, cautious, feeling-out, interview-type questions for eight hours” before sparks truly flew. “I remember I was fascinated because he presents in a way that seems very easily digestible and then you spend two minutes around him and you realize he is the kindest, most generous, most innocent, most giving person.
