Carrie Underwood has stunned fans once again, making a bold fashion statement during the 2023 CMT Music Awards. 

The 40-year-old singer from Oklahoma stepped out in metallic Dolce & Gabbana shorts, embellished with sparkling silver crystals. She paired them with a matching jacket featuring a studded turtleneck, accessorizing with dangling rhinestone earrings and a sparkly clutch. The “Before He Cheats” hitmaker completed her look with shining rings and chrome platform pumps, showing off her toned legs in the cropped outfit. 

Underwood’s hair was styled in a sleek yet distressed ponytail, and her makeup included dramatic lashes, rosy cheeks, a golden highlight, and peachy lips.

During her interview on the red carpet, Underwood explained that the night was all about the fans. She thanked them for their continuous support and admiration, saying that it was "just really cool that everybody gets behind their person." 

At the CMT Awards, Underwood is competing for the Video of the Year award with her song, “Hate My Heart.” As the most decorated artist at the event, she has won 25 awards throughout her career. Last year, she won the Video of the Year award in partnership with Jason Aldean for their song “If I Didn't Love You."

While accepting the award, Underwood expressed gratitude to her fans, saying that the award belonged to them. Meanwhile, Jason Aldean said that winning the award was a significant milestone for him, especially after being in the music industry for 17 years.

Together, they thanked fans for their support and dedication to their music. They also received the honor for Collaborative Video of the Year at the event.
