Exclusive Interview: Chris Evans Discloses Experiences Worse Than Ghosting, Including Declining Text Responses
Hollywood heartthrob Chris Evans has candidly admitted that he has suffered the pain of being ghosted. The 41-year-old actor and reigning Sexiest Man Alive explained, "I feel I've experienced something much worse...I've had the slow decline in text responses, and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually." However, these days, Evans has no need to worry, having been happily dating Alba Baptista for over a year.
Evans, who stars in new action-romance movie Ghosted, previously revealed what he looks for in a partner, explaining that "confidence" is key. In addition, he values "vulnerability and humility", declaring, "I like being sentimental, I cry pretty easily." Evans believes he is a "much better" partner now than when he was younger, having learned from his past relationships.
Despite saying that having a wife and family is "absolutely something I want," Evans declined to go into specifics about his personal life, stating, "Some things you want just for you or just for my family and my friends."
Meanwhile, his co-star in Ghosted, Ana de Armas, revealed that this was the first time the two actors got to "like each other" onscreen, after previously playing adversarial roles in Knives Out and appearing separately in The Gray Man. Ghosted is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on April 21.
