Charlotte Crosby and Jake Ankers are engaged, a year after becoming parents. The Geordie Shore star announced the engagement on Thursday, 2 November, sharing that Jake popped the question at the end of a romantic date.

In a photo posted on her social media, Jake can be seen down on one knee, presenting a ring to Charlotte. The surprised star had her hands covering her face, obviously shocked by the proposal. She captioned the photo "Happiest woman in the world", expressing her excitement about getting engaged to her best friend and love of her life.

Prior to this surprise, Charlotte had anticipations of getting engaged this year, as she had previously told The Sun before the October birth of their daughter, Alba, last year. She was certain that she and Jake would be engaged by 2023.
