BTS' Alleged 2026 World Tour to Feature 65 Shows: Big Hit Responds
BTS is officially gearing up for their long-awaited comeback — and if new reports are true, it’s going to be the group’s biggest tour ever.
As of October 2025, fans around the world are buzzing after Bloomberg reported that the K-pop superstars are preparing for a massive 2026 world tour, expected to include around 65 shows worldwide — with more than 30 in North America alone. The tour will reportedly coincide with the release of BTS’ new album, which is set to drop in March 2026.
If the report proves accurate, it would mark BTS’ most ambitious tour yet — surpassing their Permission to Dance on Stage run from 2021 to 2022, which drew more than 4 million fans across just 12 shows.
However, the band’s management company, Hybe’s Big Hit Music, is already pushing back on the claims, telling fans not to get ahead of themselves.
“Details regarding the dates and scale of BTS’ new world tour remain unconfirmed,” Big Hit said in an official statement. “The dates you mentioned are not the latest number we are discussing.”
Still, excitement is at an all-time high as the countdown to the group’s full reunion begins. Earlier this year, BTS confirmed they’ll reunite in spring 2026 following the completion of all seven members’ military service. During a Weverse livestream in July, the group announced that they are already in the early stages of working on their next album.
“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” the members said during the broadcast. “Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
Fans, who have waited more than two years for a group comeback, are ready for what’s next. The Bloomberg report notes that the upcoming tour will promote the new album and could begin just weeks after its release — possibly making it the first full BTS tour in over four years.
Big Hit hasn’t confirmed any specific cities or venues yet, but insiders say the group is planning to record new music in the U.S. later this year before finalizing details for the global trek.
