Brooks Nader Claims Ex Gleb Savchenko Was 'Fired' from 'Dancing With the Stars'

Brooks Nader is setting the record straight about her ex-boyfriend Gleb Savchenko’s Dancing With the Stars exit — and she’s making it clear she had nothing to do with it.

The drama began after Gleb, 41, revealed that he wasn’t asked back for season 34 of the long-running ABC competition. His firing came months after he struck up a romance with Brooks, 28, during season 33 — but speculation quickly swirled that their relationship and breakup played a role in his departure.

A source previously told The Sun, “Gleb was fired from Dancing With the Stars for a number of reasons but Brooks accusing him of cheating was the final straw.”

While Gleb has denied cheating, Brooks is also refusing to take the blame.

On August 20, the model was spotted in Los Angeles wearing a hot pink dress while out with her sisters when a photographer pressed her for answers. When asked, “What do you think about Gleb saying you got him fired from Dancing With the Stars,” Brooks had a blunt response: “He got himself fired, probably.”

That one-liner may just be the final word on the subject from Brooks, who has made it clear she’s focused on her own life, not her ex’s.

Brooks first shot to fame after winning the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swim Search, later landing the coveted cover in 2023. When she signed on for DWTS season 33 in 2024, she was paired with Gleb, and the two quickly made headlines for their offscreen chemistry.

“Who wouldn’t want to make out with him?” Brooks once teased when asked about their rumored fling. Their whirlwind romance, however, was far from picture-perfect. After attending multiple L.A. events together in September, the couple faced rocky moments and briefly split following their elimination in October. At the time, a source told Us Weekly that Gleb “got way too comfortable” and was spending so much time at Brooks’ home that it raised concern among her family. The two reconciled shortly after but fizzled out months later when things failed to get serious.

This wasn’t Brooks’ first high-profile romance. She was previously married to New York businessman Billy Haire for nearly four years before divorcing in 2023. Since then, she’s been embracing single life.

“Before Gleb, she was married, so she’s never really had a good chunk of time to get to know herself as a single woman,” a source told Life & Style. “She’s got a lot of plans for the summer; she wants to travel with her friends and just take advantage of all that the world has to offer.”

And while dating isn’t at the top of her priority list right now, Brooks isn’t ruling it out completely. “She definitely wants to date someone more high-profile than Gleb next, because she gets so much attention. It’s intimidating for most guys,” the insider explains. “She needs someone on her level to make things more even.”
