Brianna Chickenfry Claims Zach Bryan's Wife Drew Hairstyle Inspiration and Visited Her Stylist

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is once again making headlines — this time over an eyebrow-raising claim involving her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan’s wife, Samantha Leonard.

The Barstool Sports personality, who split from the country singer in October 2024, alleged that Samantha once visited Brianna’s longtime hairdresser and asked for her exact hair color. Brianna shared the story during a November 2025 episode of Plan Bri Uncut titled “My Hairdresser Spilled The Drama,” sparking immediate conversation online.

Zach, 29, has since moved on and quietly tied the knot with Samantha, 28 — a relationship that has drawn attention from fans who have noted her resemblance to Brianna. Despite the new chapter, fallout from Zach and Brianna’s breakup has continued to linger. In January 2025, amid ongoing backlash, the Grammy winner addressed the controversy directly, urging fans to keep those close to him out of it. “No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me,” he wrote via Instagram Stories at the time. “I can take all the hatred because I’m not a child. But do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me.”

Zach later confirmed his marriage to Samantha with a two-slide Instagram carousel, captioning a photo of himself holding his bride, “tougher than the rest,” a nod to the Bruce Springsteen song. He also shared a short clip covering the track.

On her podcast, Brianna explained that the story came from her hairdresser and close friend, Lily, who she says has been responsible for many of her hair transformations over the years. “She was going to tell me that girls came in to see her, all these girls that he was cheating on me with,” Brianna recalled. “But what she told me was honestly was even more like it was amazing. I was like, ‘No f***ing s**t.’”

According to Brianna, the alleged incident took place after she and Zach had already broken up. “She goes, ‘Bri, this girl comes in like right after we went out to dinner,’” Brianna said, explaining that the woman showed Lily her Sports Illustrated cover as inspiration. “And she’s like, ‘I want my hair to look like this,’ and it’s me.”

Brianna went on to describe how the woman allegedly changed her story when asked how she was referred to the salon. “She’s like, ‘Oh my friend!’” Brianna said, claiming the woman first said Brianna was the friend before later saying she was a “friend of a friend.”

While Brianna acknowledged that fans often visit the salon because she’s posted about it frequently, she questioned the intent behind this particular appointment. “And she was showing my picture for inspiration,” Brianna said. “It was Zach’s new girlfriend… Or are they married now?”

Reacting to the situation, Brianna didn’t hold back. “I’m like, bro… they are perfect for each other!” she said. “That is so f****** honestly sad, and deranged… It’s sad. I feel bad for the girl, to be honest, because I know what she’s stuck with.”

As of now, Samantha has not publicly responded to Brianna’s claims. While the internet continues to debate the story — and the similarities fans have long pointed out — Brianna herself noted that everything shared online should be taken with a grain of salt.
