Nicole Eggert, an alum of Baywatch, uploaded a potent video where she is seen shaving her head amid her fight against breast cancer.

“Maybe healing isn't so much about changing ourselves, but accepting ourselves for who we are – Madeleine Eames,” the 52-year-old Nicole captioned her Instagram post on Thursday, March 14.

In this video, the star of Charles in Charge can be seen shaving her short hair using an electric clipper, aided by her daughters. As this went on, the famous song by Beastie Boys, “Fight For Your Right,” played in the background.

Nicole has two daughters, 12-year-old Keegan and 25-year-old Dilyn.

Her post attracted support from fans and fellow celebrities. Among these were Jennie Garth and Alyssa Milano. Jennie, a 90210 alum who is also 51, commented, “Sending you a big hug”. Alyssa, 51 as well, added, “Grace. You show the most grace. You're inspiring and I appreciate you.”

In January, Nicole shared her diagnosis of stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer. This followed the discovery of a lump and experiencing pain in her left breast in October 2023.

“This is how I've spent my holiday. I won't deny that I cried and was led to the deepest, darkest thoughts. The journey has been tough,” she admitted on her podcast, “Perfectly Twisted”. “I have a road ahead of me, but I trust in mind-body healing, so I'm aware that I can't heal if I remain worried and upset about it. I need to stay positive.”

Soon after revealing her news on the podcast, Nicole opened up about her struggle and shared that a doctor was available to see her only in November 2023 due to a full schedule.

“This journey has been a tough one. Not an easy sail through life. I frequently read inspirational quotes and cheesy stuff to get me through,” explained the California-based actress to People, expressing her worries about her children at the same time. “While [Dilyn’s] an adult, I'm the sole caregiver of my 12-year-old at home. I have no family. I have nothing. It immediately hit me that succumbing to this isn't an option. I have to get through this. I have to defeat this. She needs me more than anyone else.”

Nicole’s friend, Mindy Molinary, established a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for her treatments post her diagnosis. Up until the time of publication, about 900 people have donated to the fundraiser, and the women have procured almost half of their $100,000 goal.
