Rumors and Statement on possible engagement of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss

Is a wedding on the horizon for Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss? In the aftermath of the Scandoval scandal, rumors have been swirling around that the Vanderpump Rules stars could be engaged.

The speculation began when a fan account shared a now-deleted post on April 1st claiming that Tom and Raquel had gotten engaged. While some Bravo viewers wondered if it was just an April Fools’ Day prank, others took the news seriously.

“TOM AND RAQUEL GOT ENGAGED???????????? omfg,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

To set the record straight, a rep for Raquel told Life & Style that the engagement rumors were false and merely someone's April Fool's joke.

It was confirmed on March 3rd by Life & Style that Tom had broken up with his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix (now his ex), following a nine-year-long relationship after it was revealed that he had been involved in a months-long affair with Raquel. A source told the magazine, “The rumor is true. They, in fact, broke up due to Tom cheating on her with Raquel.”

Both Tom and Raquel have addressed the ongoing scandal through statements. After Tom received major backlash from fans, he publicly addressed Ariana on social media: “I made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly…My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.”

Meanwhile, Ariana finally broke her silence on March 16th, stating, "To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement...What doesn’t kill me better run.”

As for Raquel, she recently gave insight on her current relationship with the TomTom co-owner. While speaking with TMZ on March 22nd, she revealed that they are “taking a break for now,” and added that they are “just trying to get through these next few steps and make amends and hear everybody out. I know a lot of people are angry. So just getting through these next few steps and not putting a label on anything.”
