Bobbi Brown's Secret to Firmer Skin: Collagen-Stimulating Treatment

Famed makeup artist and beauty industry legend, Bobbi Brown, has consistently been a trailblazer in the realm of skin care and the pursuit of healthy skin. Her Jones Road products are designed with simplicity and convenience, extending to treatments as well.

In a recent post on Instagram, Brown revealed her most recent experience with the rejuvenating treatment, Sofwave. She made a point to highlight how much more bearable it was in comparison to previous skin-tightening, treatments she's used before. “I tested it out,” she exclaimed. “The discomfort was fairly moderate. Prior this, I had tried Ulthera, which caused extreme pain, enough to deter me from trying it again. But it is worth mentioning that the subtle improvements were noticeable.”

Brown's introduction to Sofwave came through an invitation from Jason Pozner, MD, a plastic surgeon from Boca Raton. Recalling the experience, Brown mentioned that Dr. Pozner recommended Sofwave as a refresher for her face and as means of further laser treatments on other parts of her body.

Though she had expected to experience discomfort, she was relieved that the associated pain with the treatment was fairly minimal. “I do not use injections (that is just my own preference)," she said. "Though Novocain was used to numb my face and a relaxant was provided, I was bracing for severe discomfort. The treatment was, however, relatively brief and without pain. A few spots triggered a slight 'ouch,' but it was very manageable.”

“I inquired about my spots and the doctor employed another laser, which he apparently admires, on my arms, chest, and hands,” she remarked. The results were so satisfactory that she felt compelled to share her treatment experiences with her beauty enthusiasts. “Incredible, just half a week later, they've drastically improved. I prioritize sunblock and long sleeves whenever I can. I'm eager to witness the full results, which I'm informed should be visible in three months. The initial effects suggests that my face looks revived and perhaps there's a resurgence of collagen. My jawline appears slightly taut. Keep an eye out for more updates. I've been invited back for another treatment, which is advised.”
